For this puzzle, Cooper designed the cat-themed picture using AI, and we created the puzzle cut pattern by tracing an AI-generated jigsaw design in Adobe Illustrator. Since the two cats had different shapes, we had to tweak the cut lines so the puzzle fit the artwork properly rather than using a completely uniform interlocking pattern. Once the design was ready, we glued the printed paper image onto a piece of wood and used the laser cutter to cut out the individual puzzle pieces. It was a fun project that combined AI-generated artwork, digital design, and hands-on woodworking to create a one-of-a-kind wooden jigsaw puzzle.
